Sales Development Representative (SDR) is an essential part of the business development team responsible for identifying and acquiring prospects within specific target industries. They specifically offer solutions that can help improve the business performance of the targeted prospects. With a strategic approach and a deep understanding of client needs, SDRs play a role in building strong relationships and facilitating a more effective sales process.
What You Wil Do
- Prospect Identification:
- Conduct market research to identify potential target clients.
- Utilize various data sources (databases, social media, professional networks) to find relevant prospects.
- Develop and maintain a qualified prospect list.
- Prospecting and Outreach:
- Make phone calls, send emails, and use social media to contact prospects.
- Develop effective outreach strategies to attract prospect attention.
- Schedule meetings or presentation calls with interested prospects.
- Presentations and Demonstrations:
- Prepare and deliver product or service presentations to prospects.
- Conduct product or service demonstrations to showcase value and benefits.
- Effectively answer questions and address prospect objections.
- Negotiation and Deal Closing:
- Negotiate with prospects regarding pricing, terms, and other conditions.
- Close deals with prospects and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Manage documents and contracts related to deals.
- Relationship Development:
- Build and maintain good relationships with prospects and new clients.
- Follow up with prospects who are not yet ready to buy and keep them engaged.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure client satisfaction.
- Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyze client acquisition performance.
- Prepare weekly or monthly reports on acquisition activities and results.
- Provide feedback to the management team on market trends and new opportunities.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve company targets.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute new ideas.
- Share best practices and knowledge with other team members.
- Self-Development:
- Continuously learn and develop knowledge about products, services, and the industry.
- Attend training and seminars to improve sales and acquisition skills.
- Seek feedback and implement improvements to enhance performance.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales, client acquisition, or business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM and other sales tools.
- Results-oriented and highly motivated.
Desired Additional Skills:
- Experience in a relevant industry.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in a foreign language.
